HRW: THE POWER OF QUEER WORDS

Queer Students Trondheim and Amnesty NTNU, invite you to a conversation about books with the theme queer activism at Øya, Helgasetr. We will have conversations about books we love, which are related to the theme of queer activism. If you wish to physically bring the book(s), you are welcome to bring it/them!

We will end with Amnesty presenting the situation around censorship of queer books in different countries around the world. You will both learn about this global development, and how we together can fight against this censorship of queer voices and stories.

HRW: AMNESTY CONCERT W/ MAMAO

Amnesty Trondheim has for several years arranged a solidarity concert to spread awareness about the human rights violations that are taking place around the world, and the work that is needed to change the world. Activists give introductions and appeals about the various themes, so here you can both learn new things, delve into the topic, and gain inspiration from the members' commitment.

The concert is played by the Trondheim-based band Mamao. 💃Mamao plays tropical funk with elements of pop, rock, reggae and jazz.
